long time no update! i've been really busy behind the scenes these last few months writing and illustrating the beginnings of my webcomic/graphic novel. i have really big hopes for myself and my future from 2027 onwards, i just have to be the one to commit to making my dreams a reality. the indie self-publishing grind never ends.

during this time, artfight 2026 came and went. i wish i could have made more art for people and revenged everyone who attacked me, but i was working so much whether it was my day job or dream job that i just couldn't devote myself to it. with that being said, i cherish every single piece of art i got during AF 2026! my v.gen also got approved and i can now officially start taking commissions again!

the website has now reached 100k+ pageviews and passed it's 2 year anniversary! it makes me feel better to know that i'm not totally invisible in the sea of custom webpages on neocities and the wider internet. you have all probably noticed the fresh coat of paint and not-so-subtle rebrand of the website though. kidzombie.online is now kaylaflowers.net! i've been wanting to rebrand my alias for the last two years and finally landed on a name i liked and felt was recognisable - going forward this will be my pseudonym for anything online or publishing related. i hope you all like the new look! kidzombie was born in 2020 and used for 6 years. my art, goals, and persona has changed a lot within those years, and i felt it was time to grow up and move on from said phase of my life. going forward, the site has been cleaned up slightly to act as more of a portfolio-hub-professionalish website for myself but it won't be totally void of personality and fun!

some small personal updates during these last few weeks is that my hair is now brown with pink ghost roots and i have a few more piercings and a new tattoo. i'm feeling closer to being myself than ever! but i'm now on a personal ban as i save up for a sleeve and some other random things, like a new graphics card for my pc (another small reminder i take commissions now!) so i can play gta6 when it eventually arrives on the platform.

going forward, i'd like to make more frequent blog updates when it comes to my work process and output to hold myself accountable, and not leave this website dormant for too long again! finished art output and short-term projects may slow down due to everything mentioned above but i'm hoping it'll be worth it to see my more long-term goals come together.

yet another website rehaul! this ones feels even more me. it's inspired heavily by Y2K graphic era graphic design, one of my favourite aesthetics to draw from. right now, i'm trying to get a vgen code so i can start taking commissions again - show me some support!

my archive is now done! about 14+ years worth of art is now up and running on this website in combination with my main gallery, though i might rework that in the future to only show the most recent three years of work. i've also been steadily working on my webcomic, neuro+. the first draft of the first arc script is done, i'll move onto comic drafts and the second arc soon. i'm trying to not get too distracted by other projects stuck in my head, such as wanting to get back into making 3D models. maybe in the future when i'm better at balancing my time and staying discipilined. in terms of future plans for this website, archiving my stamps is probably next. i'm predicting that dA could probably get taken down sometime this year.

new website new me!! i was still unsatisfied with how the last iteration looked and now i have something that fits my needs more. also, the archive page is done! check out all of my works from the 2010s when you get the chance, there's a lot. i've also added a 2026 page to my gallery and a newest/featured area to my homepage for art related updates. outside of website stuff, now that my life has some more stability again i need to lock in on making my webomic. k bye!! PS - i've started posting to youtube and tiktok, i'm attempting to draw every touhou girl so watch my speedpaints!!

still working on this website! haven't been able to commit to it much due to chronic pain and focusing my time more on personal projects (comics & gamdev.). still chipping away at gallery stuff, and hopefully i've have some more exciting art things to show off soon. potentially thinking of making some shrine pages too... i launched a website for one of my projects, neuro+! the actual comic won't start until next year, but keep this page bookmarked for updates!

TOTAL WEBSITE REHAUL! i was really tired of how the old website looked so i found a new template to frankenstein together with my aesthetic and make things work. let me know what you guys think in the guest book! other than that, there's not much to report on. currently, i'd really appreciate taking some commissions due to some changes with my financial situation! right now, i'm taking chibi commissions for 25 GBP. (25.05.2025) wow! it's been a while since i updated. main updages include updating my age (happy 24th birthday to me!) and also adding my very own webring tag! big thanks to jeith who accepted me into the wiiring! for the future i want to try and give this site more love, and gear up into repo-ing my digital footprint backlog into the gallery page, and also updating my commission info for anyone who is interested.
(28.03.2025) discovered how to use iframes! now some of the sidecontent pulls from individual pages i can update to make my life easier, plus this update log too! tried to do the same with the sidebar blinkies but i ended up cutting that box entirely and i'll probably just add it to my about page tbh. yesterday i also finished up the about page for now but adding in my fursonas and some images, but yesterday i was sprucing up the html/css on my toyhouse lol. i want to get better with offline coding and updates but need to figure out how that works so i'm not constantly update spamming TT_TT
(26.03.2025) revamped the home page a little - added more stamps to my collection, fleshed out the about page with a bio and my interests/favourite things, still need to add to the third container though. also renamed the upcoming archive page to the gallery page as that's more fititng. i also have my own blinkie now! yay :-) i'll probably make a better one eventually, but i was getting super jealous. revamped the sidebars a bit too to include other peoples websites and things.
(25.03.2025) added more stamps, redesigned the sidebars and added emoticons/favicons, started some under construction template pages for about, archive, and commissions pages. added another silly gir gif.
(24.03.2025) website rehauled: mainpage redone, guestbook added, and working social links. need to flesh out my about, then move onto coding a functional archive of 2025 to 2012.
